The Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central PA (LSGPA) has been formed to accelerate economic growth and job creation through commercialization of discoveries in the life sciences. A public/private venture with input and resources from government, business, universities, and economic development partners, it services a wide geographic area built upon the research base provided by Penn State University, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and Lehigh University. 
PA Chamber of Business and Industry The mission of the Pennsylvania Chamber is to foster a healthy business climate and to improve the competitiveness of its members through: Lobbying and Advocacy. The Pennsylvania Chamber will ascertain the issues of concern to its members and then advocate those issues to the Pennsylvania legislature, to regulatory and executive agencies and to the courts. Grass-roots Activity. The Pennsylvania Chamber will draw upon the power and passion of its members by mobilizing and coordinating grass-roots activities. Influencing Public Opinion and Policy. The Pennsylvania Chamber will play a primary role in shaping public opinion and influencing public policy regarding issues of concern to its members. Technology. Through example, education and new product offerings, the Pennsylvania Chamber will work to position its members on the cutting edge of technological change and commerce. Research and Information. The Pennsylvania Chamber will monitor emerging trends in government and the economy and develop strategies for keeping its members informed, knowledgeable and competitive. Products and Services. The Pennsylvania Chamber will provide products and services designed to reduce the cost of doing business and to improve the competitiveness of its members. Penn State University PFED is an electronic expertise database of faculty and staff in Penn State Harrisburg's School of Science, Engineering, and Technology. The electronic database is searchable and provides and maintains information related to the technical expertise and publications of the faculty and staff. PFED provides a directory of Penn State Harrisburg faculty capabilities that are available to regional businesses and other research organizations. PFED identifies science, engineering, and technology faculty and staff who have experience in specific areas of interest and provides information on their past consulting, research, and publication activities in these areas. PFED also contains a listing of laboratory equipment that exists within the various science, engineering, and technology programs at Penn State Harrisburg. PFED was developed to provide an access point to the technical expertise and resources that are resident within the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology. PFED will enable regional businesses and other research organizations to better understand and utilize these capabilities to the mutual benefit of the regional research and development community.
