Pennsylvania Health Information Exchange has brought together the region's healthcare industry to help speed the rollout of advanced technology. The fall and spring meetings attract more than 200 top health care industry leaders and partners.
Pennsylvania Institute of Homeland and Defense technologies host the Military Information eXchange MiX 2007 and MiX 2008 bringing together hundreds and leading academic researchers, business leaders and the defense industry to help strengthen, grow and support Pennsylvania's Homeland and Defense technology's industry.
Pennsylvania Infrastructure Group hosted the first Pennsylvania Infrastructure Summit to bring together various industries, such as water and sewer, transportation, communications, and energy, to continue the advancement of infrastructure as a building block for the future economic success of Pennsylvania. More than 350 people attended the first event featuring an all star agenda of cabinet secretaries and top CEOs from across the state.
15th and 16th Technology Awards Gala enjoyed record attendances honoring the best innovations in Pennsylvania.
Geek Nights and Tech Nets are the largest technology networking events in Lancaster, York, State College, Carlisle Lehigh Valley, and Harrisburg
New York City Midnight Party is the largest Pennsylvania technology networking event of the year, held parallel to the 110 year-old Pennsylvania Society Weekend in December.
2007 Renaissance Report provided a first-ever state of the industry report on the mid- state, and more than 20,000 were widely distributed across Pennsylvania and the eastern seaboard to showcase Central Pennsylvania. Companies continue to use the Ren Report to market the region and their companies. This report is sent to our entire mailing list and is distributed at every event and to all who inquire about the Tech Council
TechQuest Broadband Projects helped companies secure $2.1 Million in contracts for advanced broadband. Greatly leveraging state grants from PA Dept of Community and Economic Development.
TechQuest Internship system has paid students more than $365,000, making it a major student attraction and retention toolbox for the region and state.
TechQuest-Workforce Training has provided more than $2.8 million in training for more than 4,275 people, enabling 50% savings for our participants. Greatly leveraging state grants from PA Labor & Industry.
