2020 marks the 4th year of the Women in Technology Awards and the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania’s continued commitment to celebrating women who are innovators, role models, trailblazers and inspirations within the technology community throughout our region. The event also awards scholarships to female students pursuing STEM disciplines at regional colleges and universities to support and encourage the development of the next generation of talent. The Women In Technology Awards is part of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania's broader Women In Technology initiative that strives to create an inclusive and level playing field regardless of gender within the technology industry.

IMPACT AWARD – PRIVATE SECTOR/MEDIUM TO LARGE BUSINESS
This award recognizes a woman in technology whose contributions have made a positive impact in the Private Sector/Medium to Large Business market (companies employing 15 or more employees).
IMPACT AWARD – ENTREPRENEURIAL/SMALL BUSINESS
This award recognizes a woman in technology whose contributions have had a positive impact in the Entrepreneurial/Small Business sector (companies employing less than 15 employees.
IMPACT AWARD – PUBLIC SECTOR/GOVERNMENT
This award recognizes a woman in technology whose contributions have had an impact in the Public Section/Government.

WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIPS
Our WIT Scholarships are awarded to encourage women to continue to excel in technology related disciplines such as computing, engineering and life sciences. Two scholarships (1 – $1500 and 1 – $1000) will be awarded at this year’s WIT Awards event.
We are seeking applications from candidates who are currently enrolled first years, sophomores or juniors at an institution of higher education. Priority consideration will be given to those applicants with an outstanding academic record, demonstrated student leadership experience and potential for positive future impact on the technology community.
For full consideration, complete applications must now be received by June 15, 2020.
