2024 – 2025 Women In Tech Mentoring Program
2024 – 2025 marks the 4th year of the Technology Council of Central PA’s Women In Tech (WIT) Mentoring program. The WIT Mentoring Program is a 7-month program that matches TCCP members who are currently working in tech with undergrad students representing the future of women in the tech industry. The WIT Mentoring Program includes virtual WIT Mentor group meetings and monthly Mentor-Mentee conversations.
KEY DATES:
MONDAY, 8/12/2024: WIT Mentor & Mentee Applications Open
FRIDAY, 9/13/2024 AT 12PM NOON: WIT Mentor & Mentee Application Deadline
MONDAY, 9/23/2024: All applicants notified of their Mentor or Mentee status
THURSDAY, 10/3/2024 FROM 12PM – 1:30PM: WIT Mentor Training (VIRTUAL)
THURSDAY, 10/17/2024 FROM 6PM – 7PM: WIT Mentor Program Kick-Off (VIRTUAL)
SATURDAY, 4/5/2025 FROM 11AM – 1PM: WIT Mentor Program Luncheon (IN-PERSON, Invitation Only)

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
BE A MENTOR
TCCP members who are currently working in tech are eligible to apply to become a WIT Mentor.
WIT Mentors are matched with eligible undergrad students representing the future of women in the tech industry.
Mentors will be paired together to co-facilitate monthly virtual group discussions while also connecting 1-on-1 with their assigned Mentees.
BE A MENTEE
Undergrad mentees may include students from the following TCCP higher education members:
Central Penn College
Gettysburg College
HACC (ALL CAMPUSES)
Harrisburg University of Science & Technology
Penn State University (ALL CAMPUSES)
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology
York College
Each WIT Mentee will be matched with a WIT Mentor and is expected to:
- Participate in monthly virtual WIT Mentoring group meetings
- Connect 1-on-1 with her WIT Mentor at least once per month
